40 mins to Mollymook
Head north and have a leisurely day of surfing, shopping, sightseeing, and eating.
Head into Ulladulla then turn right down towards the beach at Mollymook, for an early morning surf or swim. With a protected north headland, the beach is patrolled in summer and, in winter, is a friendly place to surf. You might even find yourself surfing alongside the pod of dolphins that like to shelter there. If you want to brush up on your surfing skills, there are also several surfing schools based there.
Then head back into Ulladulla for breakfast at the deliciously healthy Native, which has a great range of local sourced breakfast treats. After, head out to the Gondwana Coast Fossil Walk , a stunning walk along the coast with fossils embedded in the rocks along the way. For lunch it’s hard to go past a pie at the renowned Hayden’s Pies in Ulladulla. Home-made daily, they are a local gem and simply delicious!
Take the afternoon at leisure, stopping in Milton, a beautiful, historic village full of local craft stores. Wander down the main street and check out the local fashion designers, homeware stores, antique restorers and art galleries. You’re bound to find something that catches your eye. Finish with the day with a refreshing drink at one of the local pubs or bars right in the centre of town.
Then it’s just a 40 minute drive back home to BIG4 Racecourse Beach Tourist Park for a relaxing night enjoying the great facilities at the park.
